Very friendly and engaging staff, definitely a plus. The rooms and floors were not properly cleaned. Throughout the day, people were smoking, both cigarettes and Marijuana. What was the point of no smoking signs everywhere. There was also a lot of suspect happenings. Not worth the money, will not stay here again.

The room itself is small. The bathroom was closet sized with an odd shaped (small) shower built into the wall. The vanity was tiny and not within the bathroom itself so if you used it or turned on the lights, it would disturb anyone else sharing the room.

Staff was amazing. Welcoming you upon arrival and quickly getting you into your room. I arrived well before standard check in time but the desk agent got me in anyway with a minimal wait. My room was clean and exactly what I paid for. I wanted something nice on a budget and it is exactly what I got. The bathroom was a little small and yes the door was unusual but the money I saved VS. staying at another pricey hotel was great considering all the things there are to do in the area. I would absolutely stay again.

I booked this hotel because it had a pool and was priced at a reasonable rate. When arriving to the hotel, the pool was closed. Went to the room, smelled like old smoke. The closet door was broken and there was leftover Bojangles in the draw beside the bed. I was not happy about this hotel. Very let down. Then on top of that the staff was rude, no smiles and not welcoming to the hotel. Very let down by this experience. I will not be going back.

The best location when looking for things to do in Charlotte. The staff was friendly and went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. You do not find that type of customer service elsewhere these days. The AGM was so sweet, arranged a cab for me and even printed me a list of interesting things to do in the area that were either free or close to it. I will definitely visit this specific Sleep Inn each time I return to the area, which is very often. No it is not a Hilton but even in a Hilton you can not get that type of service.

UNSAFE, DIRTY, AGGRESSIVE STAFF, VIOLATORS OF PRIVACY. Lets their employees go around creating hostile environments for their guests. Workers will slam into your room so hard that the door lock is pointless to have for “safety”. Rude and aggressive. If I could give negative 5 stars I would. Management also made sure to let me know there was no privacy in the hotel. She stated that there are cameras and microphones/recording devices in every part of the hotel. Rooms, halls, etc. be safe y’all there’s no telling what kind of videos they are keeping of guests and doing who knows what with those videos.
